This blog exists because a few friends wanted some music recommendations. And they got tired of me emailing and texting recommendations every hour of the day. The suggestion was to put it all in one place. Hence, the very blog your reading.
Now let’s get something straight … this isn’t a music site like Pitchfork or Consequence of Sound, or any of the others. Those already exist. And they’re excellent at what they do.
This blog is just about sharing my love of music. It’s personal. And it spans a lot of genres, styles, mediums, years, etc. There’s links to music all around the web. There’s some brief intros and descriptions. More links for more info. And there’s also some questionably shot concert footage I’ve filmed while attending any number of live shows.
My intention is to hopefully interest you in music that is unfamiliar, forgotten, or yet-to-be-experienced. There’s no expectations. There’s no rules. Hence, “a non-sequitur of sound.”
