Okay, it’s been a while since I’ve posted one of my archived playlists. So here’s the third entry in the Groove Street series, titled “Groove Street III: Tres Amigos & Friends.” I think I compiled this one sometime in the last two years. I can’t entirely remember when. But it doesn’t really matter, as long as it sounds good.
Again, like all my old playlists, this one’s been sitting on my local devices – i.e. computer, laptop, iPad, iPhone, etc. And it’s been used countless times for soundtracking my work days, my art projects, and just general chillin’ on my own time. Now it’s been Spotified for mass consumption.
Why the subtitle “Tres Amigos & Friends”? No idea. But I like to tell people to pick their three favorite songs, and those are your “Tres Amigos.” The rest are your “Friends.” Silly, I know. And don’t really care.
So what are my three picks … At this very moment in time, I’d have to say it ‘s Lane 8’s “Diamonds,” The Dukes of Stratosphear’s “What in the World?” and Client Liaison’s “A Foreign Affair.” Of course, that will all change the next time I give it a listen, because there’s much to enjoy here.
Shuffle it up, or play from the beginning. Either way works. Enjoy!
