I heard The Cult’s early alternative rock classic “Revolution” in the car this morning. It really summed up how I’ve been feeling this entire week, especially with the upcoming election, as well as a number of other issues I’ve been managing. It’s such an enlightening song, never overbearing or preachy, but completely on point. Sure, it’s an oldie. And it sounds slightly dated. But listen to it with the volume on full, and it might carry you away.
Anyway, a revolution is what’s needed right now. And I’m not just talking politics. It’s about where we’ve been and where we’re headed. I’ll leave it at that. Enjoy this musical protest from the past.
