There were so many great bands at Desert Daze this year. And there were a number of them that were new to me. JJUUJJUU is one of those I’d never heard of, yet totally blew me away. Their experimental psychedelic drone rock is filled with colorful jams and spaced-out weirdness. And band founder Phil Pirrone is also the organizer behind Desert Daze.
