Here’s another great blast of synth-bliss from Philadelphia’s A Sunny Day in Glasgow, titled “MTLOV (Minor Keys)” Until yesterday, I was convinced these guys hailed from the U.K. Turns out they only lived there for a few years before returning stateside. Their music tends to lean towards wall-of-sound shoegaze. But I find them to be more subdued, instead tilting towards the sister genre of dream-pop. That’s probably due to the ethereal vocals and electronic synth tendencies within their sound. This particular track is from the 2014 album “Sea When Absent.” Enjoy …
