I don’t know a heck of a lot about the Brooklyn-based indie-electronic band Black Light Dinner Party except that I think they’re no longer together – at least, that’s what the internet tells me. Ironically, it’s their single “Older Together” that caught my attention this evening, an uplifting melancholic tune that encompasses the joys and sorrows of age and togetherness. It’s from 2013, but somehow still feels a little timeless.
