This song has crept up a few times during my listening excursions. Each time, I’ve been taken by the authenticity of Strand of Oak’s psychedelic inclinations. The title “Taking Acid and Talking to My Brother” sets the tone. It’ gonna be a conversation of sound, long and strange, flowing with meandering feedback and folk-rock tendencies.
