Here’s another track I heard driving to work this morning. Self-described as “experimental sludge pop,” Let’s Eat Grandma’s “Falling Into Me” seems slightly deceptive. On the surface, it sounds like catchy slightly disposable synth-pop. But as it rolls on, there’s an underlying eclectic complexity that pushes pop into progressive intrigue. In other words, there’s a lot more going on here.
