I first heard UK act White Lies’ indie rock single “Death” in the excellent Iranian vampire film “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.” If you’ve seen the film, you know the scene. It’s stuck with me ever since.
So when I heard it today at work, I had to remind everyone of “Death’s” greatness. It succeeds as both hypnotic rock and catchy pop. Here it is …
