Typically, I’m not one to recommend love songs. But I’ve always thought that if anyone ever asked, this would be the one. It’s by a UK shoegazer-ish, dream pop-styled band from the ’90s called Breathless, fronted by vocalist Dominic Appleton. Some might remember him from the 4AD Records “supergroup” This Mortal Coil. If you don’t, no worries. This song stands on its own.
