Tycho’s 2014 early morning Burning Man set, titled “Black Sunrise” is an eclectic downtempo DJ set, full of chilled beats, ambient melodies, and vintage synth sounds. According to the Soundcloud description, Tycho’s set started around 5:40am on the Playa. So picture that as you’re listening to this for the next two hours.
Tycho, for those unfamiliar, is Northern Californian Scott Hansen’s fourpiece band. Their lo-fi progressive songwriting is full of organic rhythms, retro-futuristic sounds and nostalgic feelings of melancholia.
