Chvrches @ the Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, CA – 09.23.18

I just really love Chvrches. Sure, the Scottish trio are very pop-oriented. And their catchy, synth-heavy electronic sound is super-easy on the ears. But they just hit all the right buttons … and notes. Their music always sounds eternally optimistic, even when their latest album is titled “Love is Dead.”

For this year’s tour, they’ve added a drummer. And what a difference that makes, giving every song an extra bit of heft in the live performance. Here’s a selection of songs they played at the Greek Theatre last Sunday (09-23-18). Three new and three old. Enjoy!
